Another list of 142 cranks at WUWT
You can tell a person's character from the company they keep. There's a list of 137 people who keep company with Tim Ball and E. Calvin Beisner and Joe Bastardi and Joseph D’Aleo and David Legates at WUWT.

Interesting who is not on the list. Anthony Watts, for example.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that, too. Anthony went missing a while ago. I don't know what's occupying him these days.
DeleteDo you ever wonder if any of them are increasingly aware deep down that as far as posterity is concerned they're going to be seen as one of the idiots of history? That'd make anyone subdued... well, anyone with half a brain...
DeletePerhaps they need to send one of their silly letters to that other well known cabal of commie mutant traitors, the Church of England:
ReplyDelete"Church of England wields its influence in fight against climate change"

The endorsers are certainly fond of listing letters after their names. But few among the minority with PhDs in even vaguely relevant fields are on the young side of 60.
ReplyDeleteIs some type of reverse-counter-credentialism at play? "We don't care what 90+% of the world's climatologists have to say about climate science - reputations and academic qualifications mean nothing to Science. (Oh, and here are our degrees.)"
Somewhat surprising to see Steven Mosher put his name down. My impression was that he's generally careful to keep a foot firmly planted on each side of the barbed-wire fence, uncomfortable as that might be.
I wonder whether that is another [[Steven Mosher]]. Does not sound like someone who sells PC graphics cards.
DeleteYes Victor, he's not the Berkeley / climate gate Mosher.
DeleteThanks Victor, PG. I wouldn't have suspected two Steven Moshers, but you're correct.
DeleteI've often found on forums that many climate science deniers are also evolution deniers because of their religious beliefs. I wonder what the percentage is on WTFUWT?
ReplyDeleteIs this signatory for real?
ReplyDeletePrince Bertrand of Orléans-Braganza, J.D., author of Psicose Ambientalista (Environmental Madness), Director of Paz no Campo, Brazil
All right. I just used the Google to swing my way to a Wikipedia article that confirms.that such a personage.exists. Now I know that Brazil has a wannabe prince who wishes to restore his family to.political power.
