The little uptick is then extrapolated into a wicked vertical red SPIKE. It reminds me of my sons last basketball game where he got a couple of baskets in the final few seconds, getting a similar uptick at the end. Now if I extrapolate like they did in the graph, he should have an additional 14,000 points in his next game. Wow, not bad.

Don't you just love climate science? The most personal information he can have about me is my IP address so he can't possibly connect my responses and my views, even if this was his evil, scheming intention.

I actually had to go and read the original Rawls article but this particular point hasn't been address, as far as I can see.

Is there also a conspiracy that the Pro-AGW New World Government assigns IP addresses based on AGW belief?

A.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2313427464944392482.post-65830675799379999192013-05-10T00:43:37.089+10:002013-05-10T00:43:37.089+10:00(Try again -- got the link right this time)
Well,...(Try again -- got the link right this time)

Well, when you are too incompetent to do any science yourself, what do you have left?

I mean, when you are so incompetent that you still confuse absolute temperatures with temperature anomalies, and are unable to put together (or even figure out how to use) a simple global-temperature program like this in spite of the fact that you've been spent *years* supposedly "analyzing" the NASA/NOAA global-temperature work (and have been paid tens of thousands of dollars to do so), what do you have left?

Conspiracy theories!

It's like junior-high students who flunk math. Are they more likely to say, "I flunked because I was lazy and didn't study enough", or "It's a conspiracy -- the teacher gave me an F because he doesn't like god-fearing conservatives like me"?

Take that junior-high excuse-making attitude into adulthood, and you get people like Anthony Watts.caerbannoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03896552738444745753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2313427464944392482.post-60331196705881894402013-05-10T00:39:34.561+10:002013-05-10T00:39:34.561+10:00This comment has been removed by the author.caerbannoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03896552738444745753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2313427464944392482.post-81743782241517042262013-05-09T18:58:48.807+10:002013-05-09T18:58:48.807+10:00Yes, the term rent-seeking is the fashionable mot ...Yes, the term rent-seeking is the fashionable mot du jour of rent-seeking fake skeptics :)Souhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08818999735123752034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2313427464944392482.post-44037733150599328952013-05-09T18:37:35.254+10:002013-05-09T18:37:35.254+10:00So, they're actually stating outright that the...So, they're actually stating outright that their 'skeptic' interpretation of papers is better - in fact, more honest - than the authors' own!
